In spite of contemporary forms of communication, there is nothing like one-to-one conversation. Jesus is confronted with the question, “Who are you?” To reach the heart of the matter, to be succinct, “tell us plainly” (John 10:24). While words convey one thing, actions convey a greater truth. Jesus heals, mends the broken hearted, gives new life.
